PHOTOGRAPHY RETREAT - 'On Assignment' - with Daniel Linnet

From AUD $2,495.00
  • Duration: 4 Days
  • Location: Junee, NSW

A masterfully curated 4 day Photography Retreat like no other! Running from 8am on Monday the 10th of October and concluding 5pm on Thursday the 13th of October, 2022 , this event is STRICTLY LIMITED to 8 SPACES ONLY.  Please note : there is a large crew which will outnumber 8 participants and all dedicated to make sure you have a wonderful experience.

We invite you to attend one of Sydney’s most comprehensive, fully produced photography retreats designed for the enthusiast and taught by Canon Master, Daniel Linnet, who is known for his creative flair and distinctive lighting style.  You will be joined by his handpicked creative team. Although being granted the honour of Canon Master, Daniel is proficient at teaching on every other brand of camera.

This is an INTERMEDIATE to ADVANCED level Photography Retreat - a feature of our 'On Assignment' series of Workshops - and is A VERY HANDS ON EXPERIENCE. You will be shooting most of the day away!

Our â€˜On Assignment’ Series of Workshops are designed to give you amazing and seriously fun professional photography shoots over a period of several days with all of the production, including model and subject casting, location scouting, team construction, etc., done for you so that all you will need to focus on is soaking up the tuition provided to you and being creative!

We have secured the unlimited and exclusive use of magnificent locations that sets the stage for engaging and participating in multiple shoots, whilst staying in one of Australia’s most interesting accommodations - Monte Cristo.  Not for the faint of heart, this location is set to send shivers up your spine where we will explore and shoot in Australia's most haunted house!  *We will be based for the duration of the 4 day week at this historical colonial homestead - the most renowned colonial mansion in the Riverina - located in Junee, New South Wales.

EXPERIENCE THE THRILL OF BEING 'ON ASSIGNMENT'!

Expect this unique experience to offer the opportunity to extensively pull on all of the skills (and to pick the brains) of Daniel during the comprehensive demonstrations and tuition prior to your shoots as we serve you up with the absolute thrill of being 'on assignment'!

Spend your time away with us encompassing the intrinsic lifestyle and action of a working pro photographer as Daniel takes you through a series of shoots where we utilise multiple historical period sets which are lavishly appointed at the homestead.

Restart or recharge your creative mind, train your creative eye, brush up on your photography skills or just expand on what you already know.  You will definitely walk away from this Workshop having added something amazing and new to your repertoire.

This is an absolute maximum of 8 participants - our crew will outnumber all of you!

HURRY - ONLY 2 SPOTS LEFT!!

Join us in this unique opportunity of 'other worldliness' as we have gained unlimited access to the property and mansion which could very well be the last time anybody will be able to get to shoot with exclusive access to parts of the homestead.

Be entertained on the first night of your stay as you are taken on a guided 'Ghost Tour' where you will learn all about the properties rich, startling and disturbing history. Your guides for the tour will be the wonderful Lawrence Ryan (son of Reg & Olive) aka Lawrence Legend, a World Record Holder Stunt Artist who comes compete with his own stunt museum on site and the beautiful Siliva Heszterenyi (Lawrence's partner), who owns the largest 'reborn' spooky doll collection in Australia and possibly the world. Silvia's doll museum, housed at the homestead, totals in number to over 10,000 dolls!

Prepare to delve into the world of 'days gone by' that brings with it a variety of opulent sets filled with grandeur. Monte Cristo is faithfully restored and furnished in the High Victorian Period 1840-1900 adorned lavishly with antique furniture and trinkets.

The homestead does not get any Government Grants or funding or have volunteers assistance.  We ask that you bring your sense of adventure, keeping an open mind, as you enter the privately owned historical homestead.  The Ryan family will happily share with you their home and the amazing work that the late Reg Ryan achieved in over 50 years of painstaking restoration with his beautiful wife Olive (currently in her 90's) and who still lives at the mansion.

Have you done one of our Workshops or Courses or some of our Private Tuition and want to take it up a few notches?  This is just the way to do it!  Call to ask about the structure and prerequisites if you are in doubt as to its suitability for you.  Also great as a stand alone practical experience, as long as you know your way around your camera.
